Guided Walks around the Village Centre

Want to know more about Wickham? Then join a guided walk!

The Wickham History Walks are led by experienced WHS members. We cover the early origins of Wickham, including recent finds at Wykeham Vale behind School Road, key buildings like the Barracks, Square Cow and Chesapeake Mill and our medieval square, said to be the second largest village square in England.

Our guided walks for the season are now finished – thank you to everyone who joined us!

If you missed us, then you can create your own own walk around this lovely village by using the Historic Wickham QR Trail! The trail has twelve history boards with more information at key locations around the village – map and details here.
