Guided Walks – Summer 2026

Want to discover more about Wickham? Join one of our guided walks and explore the village’s fascinating history on foot.

Led by experienced Wickham History Society members, the walks reveal Wickham’s early origins, including recent archaeological finds at Wykeham Vale behind School Road. We also explore key landmarks such as the Barracks, Square Cow, and Chesapeake Mill, as well as our remarkable medieval square—said to be the second largest village square in England.
