GUIDED WALKS

Guided Walks around the Village Centre will be conducted for Wickham Parishioners during the Summer months.

We had a great turn out for our summer village walks with nearly 70 people joining us.

Our next walks are aimed at the folk who will be visiting our historic village for the Wickham Music Festival on 2nd – 5th August.

We will run guided walks on Friday 3rd August & Saturday 4th August, both starting at 10:30am.

Walks start at the Wickham Square bus stop / Square Cow – meet at 10:15am – and take about 1½ hours.

Places limited so don’t delay! Please call 01329 833103 or use the contact form to book your place.

Free to Society members – £3 for non-members, payable on the day.

GUIDED WALKS FOR ORGANISATIONS

These can be arranged for times and dates to suit.  Walks are conducted by Society Guides. Joiners should be aware that the walk involves some country tracks and some steps. They should also be very alert to busy road traffic. The walks will take approximately 1 1/2 hours. To arrange these, go to CONTACT US – click HERE

HISTORIC SELF-GUIDED WALKS AROUND WICKHAM VILLAGE CENTRE

Please note that there is no public access to the private properties detailed in the guides. Some historic buildings in Wickham can be positively dated, (e.g., The Bugle Inn, Blanton, The Old House, Havelock and Wentworth).  For the rest, dates are arrived at on stylistic evidence, in the main, and so must remain approximate for the time being.
